After using the iPhone's virtual keyboard for 2.5 years I'll never go back to buttons. I've talked with a number of co workers that thought they HAD to have a physical keyboard so they bought the Droid only to discover they never use the keyboard.

Its so cute when people see the light after you've been telling them the same thing.

Fugly computers....fugly phones, HP is right on track!

oh yeah....really original name too. (rolls eyes)
Moto hardware = fugly.

my .02 cents
The phone is meh in my opinion. It only has 1 out of the 3 things I look for in a phone. Hardware, software, network. The droid has the network but that's it.

The iPhone has 2 out of the 3, hardware and software. I work for big red and get big discounts on service but I just cant find a phone in the line-up to replace my iPhone. I need video out and I don't need a physical keyboard or trackball (eris). Maybe the HTC Passion will be the one.

When will Verizon realize people don't want a phone "like" the iPhone.....they want the iPhone!!!

Signed, hopelessly waiting....

"A pre-digital clock".....that was priceless! lol

Seamless!

My 1st gen iPhone just got better.....again.......for FREE!

FTW
Any idea what out of contract price will be? $199?
I love apple but the annual iPod fluff is more than meh. New colors for the shuffle? Do people actually still buy the shuffle?

As for the nano. I'm on the fence about the form factor but where are some cool new features like the Zune? And the fact that iPods don't have built in radios because it competes with iTunes (radio is free, buying music is not) is glaringly obvious. The user suffers because Jobs doesn't want t sell less music. Weak.

The blue Zune is sounding appealing. The only question is can I be an Apple fanboy still AND have a Zune.

/Perplexed. :)
That was WEAKSAUCE!

Way too long, way too stupid.

Kinda like Windows though so yeah...I guess if the shoes fits. :)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
