I wish they would include the 5th Gen iPod Video in that class. I bought one years ago and it was so scratch prone that you could blow on it and the moisture in your breath would scratch the surface. In fact, the case I originally bought for it had a little piece of thread holding together the two halves on the front (kinda hard to explain) and after 2 days that tiny piece of cloth had dug a huge groove into the screen. I couldn't believe I paid $400 for this piece of shit. Returned it to Best Buy to get a replacement which was just as bad, but I put a different case on it right away to protect the screen. Whoever figured out they could save the $0.02 by going without screen protection should be shot.
Under that philosophy, should my employer pay me for my time spent driving to and from work? Seriously. I have to drive to work in order to work, right? Or in the elevator on my way up to my office? What about when I'm home and thinking about work. In fact, they should just pay me 24x7x365, because even when I am at home asleep, I am only trying to get some rest to be more productive at work the next day...
On a side note, I just wanted to mention that Woz is a really cool guy. Years ago as a kid, we got his cell phone number and called him up. Talked to us for half an hour about tech stuff. Was real nice and told us to call him back sometime. Never did, but it made me think very highly of someone who is willing to chit chat with a bunch of kids and not once ask how we got his number.
"I'm heading to university next year, and I've purchased a MacBook. I'm also taking my four year old desktop, just in case I'm left with no computers when the MacBook is being repaired or whatnot. With only two USB ports on a MacBook, I want a Bluetooth mouse. Budget is about $100, and of course, it needs OS X support. Thanks for the help!"
