Only installed it 5 minutes ago and it has already detected and removed a trojan which both Avast and MSE didn't detect and/or remove. My only gripe is that it doesn't show much information about the current scan. That aside, this is a wonderful product.
Oh great. Yet another US exclusive VOD website. I can say that I love where they're going with this stuff, but until they make it International friendly, it won't be appreciated. Much like Pandora, Hulu and BBC iPlayer. Come on, already.
ISOs/CSOs come from UMDs...
And just who in their right mind would switch browsers just for this? Please, people, is logic so much to ask for?
This is absolutely amazing. Wish I could see it up close.
Luckily (for me atleast) the 1005HA has a RAM access door thing on the bottom unlike the 1008HA. :)
Agreed. It also sucks that a regular cloth doesn't work on the darn thing. It's also my first laptop/netbook so I'm stumped at what to use for cleaning it.
The 1005HA-V has a matte screen, though it lacks bluetooth, has a .3 megapixel camera (instead of the 1.3) and doesn't come with a fancy slip case/bag-thing.

I have the 1005HA-P (which is the best of the bunch but has the glossy screen). I believe it's the model used in the engadget review.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm pretty much a complete noob when it comes to camera stuff. My wife loves to take pictures, though. So much so that she literally wore out her first point and shoot camera, and the Kodak Z712 I bought for her less than two years ago is starting to act up as well. To compound the matter, we are expecting our first born sometime next year. I fear the Kodak just isn't going to cut it any longer. What would be the best starter DSLR to get? She hates missing photo opportunities due to camera 'lag' so speed would definitely be at the top of the list. Photo quality and features would be next. Price should be no more than $800. I'm not interested in video capabilities."
