I was anxious to try when it was mentioned on the Engadget Show... after a few hours of playing around... Wow. Love being able to save stories and love the customizable toolbar. Just want links to the other podcasts. Tremendous first effort. Well worth the wait.
Last year they were the talk of CES. I'm looking forward to a new Pre (bigger screen - better battery life --- please!). Agreed that carrying it across more carriers is important, but considering the phones available on those networks (iPhone, DROID, G1, etc.) they need a new iteration of the Pre and Web OS.
@awfulwaffle
Hey - I'm no engineer... and haven't been following this enough to say how safe it is... (for all I know, it could be safer than a standard jet.) But I just wouldn't want to be in this during any hard spells of turbulence... that's all I'm saying.....

I hope the three cabins can somehow fly separately, cause I totally see em snapping off.
Not to be the turd in the punch bowl and all....(and I know Richard Branson is the man and all, but....)..... does....not....look....safe. Looks completely unbalanced.
Wow....if the Motorola DROID was a PC....

Well, it's nice to see that someone is still trying to innovate in the space of PC cases. I agree with DWells55 - $200 - $300 and we can talk.

I think the constant references by people to the fact that the turntable (or guitar, or drums) are 'plastic' is just a reductive attempt to belittle those who find enjoyment in the game. It has nothing to do with the fact that they are plastic. I bought and reviewed this game and it's a lot of fun. So many missed opportunities for them to have looped in hip-hop aficionados, but overall I had loads of fun (and so will folks who open this up on Christmas morning.

That said, I think they should have sold the higher grade turntable that they sell with the Jay-Z/Eminem Special Edition 'taking-advantage-of-your-loyalty' pack. Apparently the cross fader (which is poorly made) is a bit sturdier. Would like to have that one, and I'd pay as a second controller.
Now we are talking. Let the begging begin... ... Please sir.....
These are getting better and better! Hit me up!
If you give me one, I will use the money I save to re-buy all of my UMDs!!
@genomecop lol - I was thinking the same thing. "I'm in for one"! Come on, Josh. Put a D3000 up for Black Friday.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
