Saw it working at Cedia, picture is perfect, colors are beautiful, not that washed colors from the red/blue paper glasses.
I regret so much I just bought a TT 730. Even with the constant updates, it doesn't hit one single house number. All of them are wrong by hundreds of feet. Everytime I get to a destination, I need to cancel the route manually.
Me too, was also buying a 8100 when I heard they were leaving. Sent them an email asking for support and map updates, took them 3 days to reply. Got scared to shove $300/400 on it and got a TomTom 730, mainly because of the constant updated.

Now I regret so much, as at least here in NC, several streets are missing, numbers are always wrong and it never knows when I get to a place, I always need to cancel the route.

Should I dump this cr!p and get a Navigon anyway ?
Dell Mini9 RIP. Bought one and couldn't stand the ultra small keyboard and the lack of function keys. Bought an EEE PC and now I'm happy.
My toothbrush uses this " technology" for years. But it's really nice though.
I'm one of the "Engadget-6" - first picture, the first one from right to left, on the back. Got there 3:10pm and waited til 7:05pm outside, FREEEEZING COLD. Actually for the first 8-10 was not so bad as we had some cover on top of our heads. But I saw several people by my side getting striaght rain and snow of top of their bare heads. Got some prizes, laughed a lot, the $1000 gift certificate really made it worth.
Gimme ! Gimme !
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I commonly need to boot a system from an external disc and take a snapshot of the host system. I also then need to burn a copy of the image to a DVD. While I can do it with two separate external devices, and two power supplies, and two I/O cables, it'd be nice to find a small dual-drive enclosure. It would need to have USB, eSATA, and FireWire. Either slim-line or half-height bay for the optical burner would be fine, and space for either a 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disc. Any ideas?"
