@ bluesky: thats what she said;

"And I dont believe in carrying more than one device in my pants at the time. "-bluesky_v2.01

With all due respect to the OP, I am in agreence that the Zune HD need at least a phone radio if not a serious app eco system.
I'm still not sure why I got a Philosophy degree. At the least we have a mind crafted enough to truly enjoy the existence of unemployment. unlike all those unemployed comm majors who have to resort to boozing and raking, which is pretty much what those lot did in college anyway.

I wish we knew more about the availability of textbook titles and the cost. those two bits of info make a big difference in justifying this device.
So the CPU(s) are on the daughter card. If they are socket attached that would make upgrading awesome. The previous model (the one i have) is very hard to dissect. I imagine that apple will sell processor upgrades with the interchangeable cards and it probably makes initial assembly faster as well.
Yep, that is costly. when the N routers were new this was a justifiable premium for the promised performance. ~170$ /= the cost of ubiquity. I bought the first gen after going through 3 belkin n routers and one linksys that looked like an orbital satellite. Realistically, Belkin has got more of my money tied up in a box of broken routers than apple does on one functional product. However that was like 2 years ago they need to get with the times.

I'm not even going to remark on the time capsule. capacities should be double for that price. disregard the comment about not remarking on the time capsule.
I like it but I don't use Verizon. Its kind of like a Chumby with a phone.
You should be ashamed of what you have eaten. Puking out Amy Winehouse, tisk tisk.
Personally, I like it. not the price but the machine. Looks like a good replacement for the Jornada 720 i had to trash last month. I miss that outdated, useless for anything but writing, machine. Yes, I am the only person on the planet who can touch type on a J720 with hands of normal proportions, honest it got me through college. Unfortunately it seems to be 200 too much for me. they should have a SKU without 3g.

I also question the structure of the case. it seems that it would suffer from torsion being so thin, long and narrow. (yes yes, that's what she said...)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
