Am I the only one noticing Engadget's improper use of "compliment" instead of "complement" - who fired the copyeditor? I've noticed a lot of grammar/misspellings lately, and I'm not even a writer!
Aww shucks! I already downloaded a free copy. Sorry Stevie!!
7/11 IPOcalypse UPDATE: 9pm PST

Thank Hay-zeus for the interweb! The apple link to the 222MB file screwed me over to pre-jan08 status. I found another link on some site like yousendit that worked, so now I'm rolling 2.0 and playing supermonkeyball on my touch. Good luck and good night fellas!
When i Sync a popup box reads:

iTunes could not install the iPod touch Software Upgrade on the iPod "Chris' Touch" because an unkown error has occored (-4).

Lame, no?
Uh oh...

Attempted to install one of the updates floating around on the interweb... it failed to update [right away] using the shift-click / find file method, then wanted to restore the ipod...

So it restored [fine], says it's using 1.1.4 BUT I lost all the apps that came with the jan08 update [that i paid for!].

This sux...
...want a lick? Psych!

1.14 it is...
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
