I understand exactly what you were trying to do. But there's nothing to "bemoan" about posting first; only the immature even think to assign any connotations to it.
If you hear someone describing unemployment rates as having "grown really large", and you reply with, "Hey, I could've said, 'that's what she said!' but I didn't!", I really don't think you'd be met with a hearty acknowledgement of your sarcastic wit.
This is much more intriguing. Replacing the icon-based UI with just an empty (or visually interactive) screen that responds with an array or gradient of different audio cues depending on where you drag your finger would be novel at the very least, and possibly a great new feature.
Moving your finger around triggers spoken cues (e.g. "Phone"), touch-release executes?
This could also remove the inferred limitation to a blind customer base.
"Dual LED" flash? That's just twice the failure. What's the point of 8MP without xenon flash?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What's the best gaming laptop for under 1,500 bucks? I had my eye on the P7805u (Gateway), but it seems Best Buy has run out for the time being. Also, as a secondary question, I like the specs on brands such as iBUYPOWER and CyberPower and the like, but are they reliable? I'm a little worried about buying labels that aren't huge like Dell, Gateway, etc. Thanks!"
