Newegg will have an Ocz 30GB MLC SSD for BF at $100 after $30 rebate. I just bought an Intel 80GB SSD yesterday, so I am anxiously awaiting that.
You'd be mistaken.
I upgraded to .75 the other day and it seemed to smooth things out. It really sped of the changing in orientation so that was nice. I'm very happy with my Storm so far.
I have a Storm, just got it the other day, I am I very happy with it. It does sometime get stuck in portrait or landscape mode after unlocking the screen, but otherwise is very nice. There is some lag when flipping, but that is only a few times. There have been some mentions that removing VZ Nav helps it lag less and I have already removed it. That said, I will look forward to any new OS update to smooth out the occasional lag.
I ordered mine online at 630AM. Should be here Monday. There was no way I was going to stand in line for limited supply when it was in the teens this morning.
Yep, it is a World Phone and can use any SIM. It can even run on AT&T and use EDGE. That's in the review which jimmy obviously didn't read.
You are awaiting Calpella which is supposed to be out Q3 2009. So, you've got a while to save your pennies.
Just because YOU can't doesn't mean other people can't.
I got mine for the same price plus 10% cash back from Live.com. I'll have to check my order when I get home, hope mine is shipping too.
Nevermind, once you start configuring them similarly the Studio Slim is cheaper. The 530s is better if you just want the base specs.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm pretty much a complete noob when it comes to camera stuff. My wife loves to take pictures, though. So much so that she literally wore out her first point and shoot camera, and the Kodak Z712 I bought for her less than two years ago is starting to act up as well. To compound the matter, we are expecting our first born sometime next year. I fear the Kodak just isn't going to cut it any longer. What would be the best starter DSLR to get? She hates missing photo opportunities due to camera 'lag' so speed would definitely be at the top of the list. Photo quality and features would be next. Price should be no more than $800. I'm not interested in video capabilities."
