haha nice job guys. Loved it.

I was thinking the same thing about the Vaio P looking like a ginormous phone.

That's the WACOM digitizer. You know, one of those digital-pen input devices.

Pretty nifty machine, but really, is it practical?

There's no way you can use that thing on battery for very long, especially with the extra screen!
Backwards compatible with all alkaline devices, right?
More giveaways! Thank you Engadget!
Wait, remind me again... why do my old sneakers need to be able to talk to my man purse and why do they need internet access?
...and Murray, present.
Wow, a sub $5,000 HD projector, sweet.

More details from the PDF:

-Allows projection of a 100" image from only 9.8 to 20 feet away
-Dimensions: 15 (W) x 5 (H) x 12 (D) inches
-Weight: 11lbs.

What is this "3D Color Management system?" Sounds like marketing gibberish.
V3XX,

The DS is selling. It is selling so well, it sold more units last month than PS3 and PSP combined (and I'm a PS3 fan.) That's why Nintendo isn't changing anything. They don't have to. The numbers speak for themselves:

NPD’s Top Hardware Sales in July, 2008

Nintendo DS – 608,400
Nintendo Wii – 555,000
Sony PlayStation 3 – 224,900
Sony PlayStation Portable – 221,700
Microsoft XBox 360 – 204,800
Sony PlayStation 2 – 155,500
What OS's will run this amount of RAM? Are we just talking Linux for the time being?

How long will it be before we can use this ridiculous amount of ram for general purposes?
My guess is that it has something to do with the lowest cost of development for PS2 versus PS3.

Larger profit margin on PS2 titles + much larger install base globally = This comes to PS2 first.

But the the post author is right - anything out on PS2 should be playable on the PS3. Otherwise it's like getting a sack tap from Kazuo Hirai.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a 12- or 13-inch ultraportable that can also play modern games at a reasonable level, for less than $1,000. I know the brainiacs out there can help me out. Love the site, thanks!"
