Looks like a good car-puter starting point to me....
Hopefully it will be as good as the Sonos - More importantly with another "Sonos Like" device, hopfully they will all come down in price in a year or so.

(Then in a couple more years we will all be asking why they arn't inter-compatable!)
I know the road went straigh Boss... But Jane said TURN RIGHT!
with a button to turn on and off the mouse i now see the point of it.

but at $180 i'd rather stick with the $40 standard MCE remote from ebay.
after all why do i want an LCD on the remote to tell me what is already on the screen of the HTPC?

can't imagine anythign worse that a mouse and remote combined.

if you use it on VMC then you'll have to keep it absolutly steady when using the buttons to navigate or the mouse feature will keep moving the menu all over the place....

I've read the post, seen the video... i still don't get it.

WHY WOULD YOU MAKE THAT THING?
1) From what i read on the forums the leaked release that has been arround for a few months now was only an Alpha.

It was however very stable. so i've hight hopes that this will be even better.

ititial impression is that it's faster than the Alpha, but i havnt' found any sync with desktop like on opera mini. Thats a real shame! i love Bookmark sync makes my life with 4 different computers so much easier!

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
