It's looking like my school life is going to be extended, as I attempt to upgrade my diploma to degree... So this would definitely be good news for the budget wallet!
Unfortunately the people who live IN Toronto don't seem to realize just how much worse it is in other places around the World, particularly similarly sized cities in the US. The warnings about crime rates and gangs is not completely unwarrented, but it's also something to take with a grain of salt. The media goes out of their way to scare the crap out of people whenever anything happens in the city. In contrast, half of the stuff reported on as crimes in Toronto wouldn't even make it to a community newspaper in New York City. But people here would never know it.
Do you have to pay for this as well as a monthly fee for Last.FM's radio service? That would be pretty lame.
You know you can make them do the wave by hitting the shoulder buttons?
Actually it's Lower Bay station, below Bay station (hah, durr). But yes, it is usually used for filming. It was an operational station at one point though, but now it's basically unmaintained, which gives it the old and abandoned look that would be great for a launch event like this.
Some sort of transit so I don't have to walk so far between vaults. Sheesh.
Funny because I just replaced my hard drive and RAM on my Macbook the other day.

I got a Western Digital Scorpio 320gb 5400rpm, but I was also considering the Seagate Momentus of the same size and speed. I ended up with the slightly more expensive WD because I usually get WD drives lately.
From previous experiences (BT MX1000) bluetooth mice have a nack of lagging.

RF is perfectly fine.
I'm pretty sure once you select the application from the "All applications" list either once or a few times, it will become a part of the Recommended list. I may be wrong on that, but I remember doing it a few times.
Speaking of TextMate, how's version 2 coming along?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm pretty much a complete noob when it comes to camera stuff. My wife loves to take pictures, though. So much so that she literally wore out her first point and shoot camera, and the Kodak Z712 I bought for her less than two years ago is starting to act up as well. To compound the matter, we are expecting our first born sometime next year. I fear the Kodak just isn't going to cut it any longer. What would be the best starter DSLR to get? She hates missing photo opportunities due to camera 'lag' so speed would definitely be at the top of the list. Photo quality and features would be next. Price should be no more than $800. I'm not interested in video capabilities."
