3 part.

@Allen. Wait, what? I've never known anyone to do that. (until)

@Darryl. Interesting...never thought to do that. Thanks for the idea.

@The post in general.
That has to be one of the worst third party ideas I've ever seen as far as industrial design is concerned. It apparently has an audience, I just think it's silly.
Would I buy one? Nope. Why? Well for one, I just got my MBP and still have my G4 SawTooth as a networked thing (still working on what I'm doing with it, currently my stereo and office Miro T.V.). Why would I not buy one? Well, it does look good, but for me it does nothing. I'm a "power?" Mac (XP when needed) user and this just doesn't cut it. If I traveled as much as I would like to, and had the ca$h, hell yeah I'd buy a new toy. I was really disappointed when I watched the key note, however, when I watched the hands on video! I have to admit that the thinness of the screen is freaking cool. I don't care who has done it better, hell, send me a link. Laptop screens that thin are awesome! As for the "iTouch" I don't care! I'm more excited that this kind of tech is becoming more prominent. How cool is that? Fuck arguing, lets revile in the fact that companies are starting to develop it. The "Big Fucking Table" aka Surface, how fucking cool is that tech? I love the future.
I'll wait for the official announcement, but I am excited about the potential for this. I've looked at both Block Buster and Net Flix, but I'm not sold on either. For me it's more of a what do I want to watch right NOW as opposed to whats in my que that happens to show up. The questions on resolution are valid, I'm more interested in weather or not I'll have to get an appleT.V. to play back media or can I pick up the av adapter for my macbook pro and use that?

Torrents=ignore

just not my thing.
I see more and more concept cars going back to using "suicide doors", yet new cars come with the standard four door design. I wonder what the designers are thinking/seeing that others do not? All in all, if it comes with the fold down seats that my fit has, this is a pretty cool little car. Where is the engine and how do you get to it?
Aren't corporations funny.

MONEY MONEY MONEY!!!! SUE SUE SUE!!!!

It's everyone, none of them are innocent (and yet I keep paying them!).
Right now! Wow, thats a hard one. i just watched "Under the Sea" The Bobby Darrin biopic, and am on a huge bug band kick.

But I gotta go with an old (timeless) favorite.

It's a toss up of a few shows, but I think my current fave has to be...

Robot Chicken.

I'd name at least 4 more, but I won't.

(btw, I work 18+ hours a day, so most of the listed shows are on while I work on my career.

I picked up a Honda Fit Sport in late May. They have the option for an iPod adapter, I think it was around $200. You can get them aftermarket and intal it yourself for much cheaper. I didn't get it for 2 reasons. 1. The sport comes with a standard 8th inch stereo input, i really don't mind having to use the iPod to control my tunes instead of the stereo control. 2. The iPod is great for ME right now, but in the next 5 years a new type of DAP may come out that I like more. So investing $200 for a convenience feature just wasn't worth it seeing as the device will work fine with the audio jack.

BTW, the jack is standard on the sport not on the base, however aftermarket dealers are working on a DIY version.

Either way, when it comes to autos upgrading to MP3 DAP players, they shouldn't limit themselves to iPods. The best way is to have and audio in and have the iPod jack as a standard at no charge or as an option (for less than $200).

Really not a suprise. They are coming out with 1 or 2 new models a year. The Ipod w/video came out this year 1st quarter right? Sure why not, I have no idea. I wouldn't expect to see anything new until at least Jan 2007 in the Ipod line up.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
