I guess I'm just used to premium built ultra portable laptops being expensive these days, so price isn't as big an issue as I first thought. If I could change one thing though it would be battery life (give it 6-7hrs like the Vaio TT) and If I could change two things it would be give it a 9400M like everybody else has been saying.. then it'd be perfect.
WOW! a whole 64mb of internal memory, who made this some diabolical scientist from the 60's ie Dr Evil..
I'm imagining the phonecall to the distressed parents now.

"If you do not immediately go down to the shops and buy a Wii console with Wii sports, and an extra controller and .. what you want a nunchuck instead.. and 2 nunchuck's in 24 hours little Chan will.. what was that, a Wii Sh*t.. oh and a WiiFit then you will never see your son again.. "
Scientists say this vehicle will make you 56% more attractive to the ladies..

(may or may not be a real statistic)
*Cue doctor evil voice "One Million to One contrast"
cool! just one digit closer to 7.7.2.. now That's a news story!
haha exactly what I was thinking, I'd hate to be a retailer buying apple products at full (inflated) prices now only for those products to be obsolete immediately after they arrive.
It looks like a robotic sea creature or something.. it's quite beautiful in a weird cyberpunk sorta way.
and in other news.. cat gets stuck up tree, owner calls for help.. on her new 3G iPhone.
The only thing that would make it sweeter was if it was waterproof to 1.5m like my Xacti CA65.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
