great theories, but the correct one to what the apple is in relation to is Sir Isaac Newton and the infamous apple hitting his head bringing about the theory of gravitation. hence why the apple named their early pda "Newton".

if you have ever seen apple stock or the original company logo , it has the a illustration of Sir Isaac Newton and the apple hanging from the apple tree with a glowing aura illuminating it .

didn't france use a system like this for delivering mail some time ago?
why?, the psp is a great hand held gaming device ..aside from the clunky umd drive, but a potential phone? no

sony could of done that back in '04, but for some reason opted for it to be a gaming device only..

in fact if i recall right, there were peripherals designed and built to be used by the sony psp to expand connectivity....mainly the keyboard attachment by logic 3 that never came out due to sony not providing the proper api's and documentation to which is needed to communicate with component and device..

the concept of a playstation phone is not new either, nor is it gonna happen anytime soon...especially with contenders like apple in the ring, to which if sony was to attempt would be like opening a big can of worms..

over 4+ years in existence , 3 different iterations of design and hardware...and seemingly pointless firmware updates..that only in an attempt to curb piracy and quash homebrew.. just give up sony...its gone on way too long

i dont suppose theres more than one level
what about reviving the carmageddon franchise? or redneck rampage?

companies like interplay are where they are because they stopped making games for gamers and instead chose to suck and slowly die like all the other dead pc game companies of the past.

it will never come stateside, nor will the camera
totally, i actually like the design mainly because its doesn't have that carbon copy look all the other case designers put into their products.
you never know, could happen..

if sega was to re-enter the game console business again; they would have my business for sure.

the current generation of systems are lacking in way too many areas; not exactly in the performance department, but where a console is supposed to be... think about it..
maybe if the firewire was to be omitted; it would make room for not just another set of usb 2.0 ports, but usb 3.0 ports..

ahhh...think about that one...it could happen

anybody hear anymore about the mac mini refresh?
what i don't get is how it it possible to get the xbox 360 chatpad working with an iphone, but still no body seems to have any interest getting it to work on the actual controller within windows? come on thats not fair
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What's the best gaming laptop for under 1,500 bucks? I had my eye on the P7805u (Gateway), but it seems Best Buy has run out for the time being. Also, as a secondary question, I like the specs on brands such as iBUYPOWER and CyberPower and the like, but are they reliable? I'm a little worried about buying labels that aren't huge like Dell, Gateway, etc. Thanks!"
