Thank you! I have now installed fruux and it appears to be doing exactly what I wanted.
All I want is a way, like MobileMe, to sync my address book, calendars (WITH ALERTS!), and bookmarks.

I use BusySync, and now Google Cal syncs for me, but they don't sync the alerts. And I use IMAP, so I don't care about syncing email. And I don't really need push email.
I'd be willing to bet that is incase you accidentally hit the Pi button or any other button on the left. It seems to happen with most, if not all buttons on that side.
It's so great that the world gave the Olympics to that country. 2020, Sudan, anyone?

And before anyone says I am bashing the people, no, the country. The Chinese people seem to be one of the best parts of the Olympics this year.
@Dave -

I'm not trying to argue with you on this, but there has also been a post about disabling the IR sensor in the past. And I'm not saying that readers should look through the past articles, I'm saying that the writers should look through them, and if they find one that covers what they are talking about, they could just "re-instate" that post, I suppose.

Perhaps a "TUAW Blast From the Past?"
Not to be "that guy," but a quick Google shows http://www.tuaw.com/2006/05/18/tuaw-tip-pair-your-apple-remote-to-your-mac/ from 2006.

Perhaps TUAW needs a "Digg-like" feature that checks against reposts? And I'm glad this gives you all who didn't see it last time a chance to see it, but that doesn't mean we need a new post about it, perhaps a re-post?

Just saying...
Am I the only one shocked that they didn't strip white space from the beginning and the end of strings in the first place? I mean, I have no idea how the uploading of apps went on the user end, but whenever I develop anything it is common practice to strip out the unnecessary empty spaces.
Allen,

I'm not sure what this has to do with anything. Perhaps you replied to the wrong thread? I'm too lazy to check. And while I don't like to "brag" about what I own, since you started this pissing contest, and suggested I've never owned a Mac, I CURRENTLY have a Powerbook g4, 24" iMac (white version), Mac Mini (running as a Tivo) and am on my new Macbook to write this. So really, I don't know what you are talking about, and I don't think you do either. Go troll elsewhere.
I'm sure Apple played it this way on purpose. If they were to order a cease and desist right away, Psystar would have just tried a different (false) loophole, but now, they have so much more to lose, what with all the shipping, refunding, angry customers, etc.

Well played Apple. And anyone who cries that Apple is being mean, you've never owned anything you try to make a living on.
To those who aren't understanding it: a phisher sent that forged email directly from his own email account to apple saying "Hello, I have lost my password, can you send me login info for my account, and change it to match this email marko.[redacted]@yahoo.com?" and Apple did without checking anything, let alone the horribly broken grammar.

And to the guy who asked why you'd store your credit card anywhere, it's because he had to to use their services.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What's the best gaming laptop for under 1,500 bucks? I had my eye on the P7805u (Gateway), but it seems Best Buy has run out for the time being. Also, as a secondary question, I like the specs on brands such as iBUYPOWER and CyberPower and the like, but are they reliable? I'm a little worried about buying labels that aren't huge like Dell, Gateway, etc. Thanks!"
