Question: Is this compatible with Sony's XDCAM-EX system? They both use the ExpressCard standard, Sony' and Sandisk's cards happen to be way too pricey ($800) for 16GB....
Add 24/25/3OP frame selection for the movie mode.
Something tells me you're not geeky enough to know what really makes CCD/CMOS field array imagers tick... :D
"Nice. Geeky, AND nice."
Or is it "Nice. Geeky, AND nice, but...."
Or "AND Nice. Geeky, AND nice, but...."
Or "...BUT Nice. Geeky, AND nice, but...."
Or "...BUT Nice. Geeky, AND nice..."

DUDES, WTH!?!?!?!?!?!

>:D

Jeeze, feels like I'm in a bus filled with "ARE WE THERE YET?" kids...
Nice. Geeky, but nice.
Finally, a way to capture wide-angle photos on a cellphone.

I do share the concern regarding magnets, magnetic fields and its effects on electronics. Could the magnetic field somewhat have an effect on the photonic field array on a CCD or CMOS?
The era of portable computing, based on the sizes of envelopes. Nice.

Now, If only it could be as thin as an envelope...
NASA's feeling the effects of the economic downturn, I guess. That's why they're asking the smaller guys to do the job, since the big one's too pricey.

Maybe Lockheed and Boeing will do "budget" rocket launches, similar what the airlines are doing? I can see that now: Got the rockets, add fuel surcharge, 20 ton payload in the package, pay extra for excess baggage... :D
SLOW?!?!!?!?

I've been a Symantec user for many years. I don't notice a significant drop in performance on my computers. My connections' maybe a bit slow due to SAV scanning my net traffic, and I've accepted that compromise since having an infected network costs big bucks to fix.

Best of all, Symantec doesn't nag you of updates or problems on your system. If it encounters a problem, that's the only time it'll nag you. Unlike the "others" who keeps bugging you to update or whatever.

Also, I don't buy low-end hardware. Maybe that's the reason Symantec products ain't running right on your machine. >:D
Atom+Ion? I may give the netbook category a second look if this comes into reality soon (January 2009, at least?)

I always wanted a netbook with decent graphics performance. Intel, swallow your pride and admit your graphics chipsets are not worthy!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
