"There isn't even anything in 21:9"

Except for about a million feature films. Divide 21 by 9 and you get 2.33.

2.33:1 - look familiar? That is nearly the exact aspect ratio of films shot in anamorphic/scope, which is 2.39:1 (but still often referred to as 2.35:1. older standards and such, you know how it goes. kinda like how classic film shooters still use ASA instead of ISO. but I digress). The other film standard is 1.85:1 (non-anamorphic/flat), which is pretty close to 1.78:1 - which you may more commonly know as 16:9.

a 21:9 format television is fantastic, but it's Philips' fault for complicating the ratios in an attempt to simplify them. Oh well.
File transfer times and speeds are now accurate: Even when transferring between two internal HDDs, Vista never seemed to estimate time remaining, or speed of transfer, properly. Everything works accurately, and faster, after SP1.

Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 is no longer broken: Premiere used to freeze on launch do to a Vista/audio-driver incompatibility. Without having to upgrade any audio drivers, SP1 fixed the incompatibility and I can use Premiere again, without having to go to my XP system.

Resume from Standby is more reliable.
It's thick because Eizo makes mostly professional-grade monitors (read: CRT-level color accuracy). Much of this tech makes its way into the prosumer line, like the Flexscans.

They may not have wicked fast response times, but expect accurate colors, wide viewing angles, and uniform brightness across the panel.

It'll cost loads more than a 2407, but if you're looking for a budget monitor to do accurate grading for HD sources (independent filmmakers, for example), this is perfect.
LOL what are the odds, me too! And I thought it was a small town.
ZOMG RIPOFF!!!!!1 iT HAS A MONTIOR JUST LIEK MY MACBOOK!!!!!1111oneoneeleven

"BTW: I'm an Apple fanboy"

No you're not. Unlike yourself, fanboys employ neither logic nor reason. :)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
