They've had an 800x600 version for a couple of years now, but cost is still way too high, since you have to buy active shutter glasses for each person (and an ir setup that can reach everyone in the room). And yes, there's a high geek factor to the glasses.

I've got a Sharp xr10x that I found used for $400 which does this @ 85Hz. Doom 3 in 3D is pretty slick. The problem is finding updated drivers that support stereo, though that might change soon. mtbs3d.com's got the most info on 3D gaming, if'n you're curious...

"All of these new nettops have me intrigued. I'm looking for a small, quiet and cheap PC to replace my aging tower in my home office, and all it really needs to do is load Microsoft Office, check email and surf the web. Is there a particular nettop that's better (or a better value) than another? I know it's a rather new segment, but hopefully someone has taken a chance on one already. Thanks!"
