If batteries lasted longer (especially my iPhone's), it would definitely help the economy AND environment. :o)
I check the site every day or so, but my favorite posts are the live "blogcasts" from Macworld. There's always a few laugh-out-loud moments reading your commentary. I definitely miss Ryan's posts (can't believe it's already been a year), but that Darren's a firecracker too. Thanks & hope I win!
I could definitely use a new monitor! 3D would be a neat bonus!
There are only two updates I care about, and I'm still waiting for 'em, apparently.

1) LET ME TURN THE DAMNED POWER OFF, PLEASE. I'm tired of unplugging this thing every night.

2) Give me cover flow, or give me death.

A side note... my universal remote had no trouble at all working with the AppleTV over a year ago with version 1.0. So to call this an update is the height (or depth, rather) of "FEH."
Yeah. JMJ. It definitely does me good to see a Memorymoog, Synthi, and ARP 2500 somewhere in an Engadget post...

Yours truly,

A complete synth nerd.
Seems like a pretty huge Nano, doesn't it? Doesn't it look to have similar dimensions to the old iPod Mini?
I've had a Tascam DR-1 (looks a lot like this model, but more blackerer) for a few months but I keep getting dropouts in the audio, no matter what the input setting is at...
The guy who thought this thing up is named "Bumsuk."

Dang.

I guess if life deals you a name like that, you go out and make completely, awesomely badass wearable motorcycle suits that go 0-60 in 3 seconds. I mean, what else CAN you do?
Just wondering if the Apple TV backwards-syncs a movie purchased on it to your computer? If not, then it's a serious disadvantage & users should just purchase it on your computer the normal way.
And possibly also a precursor for self-assembling nanomachines...
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a 12- or 13-inch ultraportable that can also play modern games at a reasonable level, for less than $1,000. I know the brainiacs out there can help me out. Love the site, thanks!"
