I'd also like to add that the amount of *quality* Chinese language applications on app store beats anything winmo devices has ever had!
I think liking the iPhone comes down to what you use it for or expect of it.

As a student majoring in a foreign languge I find the iPhone to be, by far, the best tool available for anyone who is studying a language. Especially when combined with the excellent applications that have been created in the app store (dictionaries, flash card apps, books, course work apps etc...), most of which are free!

I used to use a winmo device, but after using a classmates iPhone I switched instantly. The iPhone UI allows you to lookup information faster than my winmo ever could, and though winmo devices do have a lot of apps available, there isnt much variety (or even quality in some cases) for foreign language study.

Combine the fast UI (getting to the apps I need and looking up info fast) and easy language input (Chinese in my case) with the standard features (audio, video, web etc..) and you have the best learning tool, in my opinion.
该干啥干啥去,别傻啦!
WTF! Glossy screen, no copy paste, no removable battery? Forget it!!
I can't even walk properly when i see a pretty women bending over, let a lone control a wheelchair!

I was in the market for a Mercades, but ended up going for BMW because (at least where I live) I couldn't find a Mercades model that came with a built in nav/multimedia system. You had to buy your own and stick it on the inner windshield.

Also, I find the new BMW iDrive system to be spledid, though I have friends who hate it :P
The gauge in the back ground is measuring how much the robot is exerting itself (努 comes from Chinese), but I have no idea about the rest.

Anyone read Japanese?
Looks pretty good. I will pick one up if I come accross it in a store.

However, I want to see how this thing handles Chinese input.... it can be very slow and cumbersome on the iPhone.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
