Am I the only one missing a safety cord in case of touching or thieves?

Other wise it is the most practical thing I saw in long time.
To the one criticizing canon AF system. (Temple)

The importance of being crossed AF points is big and also the speed and sensitivity. Having the chance to use a D3 and a 1D mark III post AF fix I can tell you the 1D mark III AF is faster than the Nikon's counterpart. Maybe the Nikon AF locks the subject a bit more decided but the 1D III is in fact faster.

I also prefer less points and more assist points to help them tracking than many points non crossed and also less sensitive. To me 19+26 assist kick 15 crossed + 36 horizontal. But that´s just me.

What you might be talking about and you might not know is the "3D AF matrix" system Nikon is using. And that's the little difference between AF systems. But the difference is so little you can't tell unless you have both cameras together all the time and even with this you really need to be picky.
My list:

1- Increase sensor size from Canon APSC to Nikon APSC with the same MP count. That would improve IQ a bit.
2- Increased Dynamic Range
3- HDR in camera
4- Wireless Flash controller in camera
5- AF layout with rule of thirds and no Diamond form.
6- AF adjust as XXD series
7- IS in camera compatible with IS in lens
8- 5 FPS

well, just dreaming here but...lol

This camera would be incredibly handy for me while trekking/climbing/cycling.

I was always carrying a 350D plus a tammy 17-50 2.8 to picture with some quality but the weight is a drawback. I ended up using a compact camera and images are not what really makes me happy by now.

No matter how to put it but I guess I'll come back to oly's territory just for this kind of camera, it reminds me my old Oly that I already have nostalgia :)
no one actually commented on the HDR yet?

This is a huge little feature! Just for an instant I'm happy pentax did this because others will follow soon. c'mon Canon/Nikon/Sony/Oly... go ahead and do it too.
OK lets make some peace here...

I'm European and yes, USA did wrong the last 8 years by having a border line as a president. (That hurts any country) But we cannot say we are perfect, we screwed it big time and my country is one of the worst ones. (Spain for the record)
"French" people, (usually polite by my experience), lately seem to be eager to criticize other nationalities and other countries citizens. Even Sarkozy insulted our president (I know he said the truth but...).

The first comment was sarcastic and basically non appropriate.

About the smart...well, they could change its name to...small.
I guess we are forgetting the 8 h battery performance of the Macbook Pro, Dual graphic card, Better screen...

I'm a Mac guy but seriously, would you spend such an amount of money and buy a Macbook pro 17" for a 12 year old child?

I would not, they did just fine buying something else. I guess I would not buy a 17" laptop for a child anyway.

To the ones flaming against 3.2 MP camera.

Give me 2 MP with great optics and I burn the ass Of a 5MP camera phone any day :)

Apple should try to get the iphone to go free of carrier but I guess would do a lot of harm.
This means Olympus Pen with micro 4/3s and an adapter for legacy lens? I hope so, what a great thing to reactivate 2nd hand market :)
One second, I guess we are skipping an important upgrade here. It might look a bit boring as an upgrade but this little thing sports the same sensor with the new processor.

I wonder if the processing will improve the output of this camera. I remember the E30 and the E620 to be better in noise treatment and if the sensor is the same as before but the processing matches the E30 and 620 I guess it will be a bigger improvement than we are actually expecting.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
