I had a HP hx4700 as well, and was very pleased with it, especially since it has both a full SD card port and Compact flash port.

But the Hardware is very different.

The Processor used in the hx4700 may have been spec fast, but we know from many other processors that the raw Mhz spec speed does not make the difference. Also point to fact, the Iphone 3GS runs at about 624Mhz, just as the hx4700 did, but the processor is down clocked from a 800 mhz speed...to run cooler and use less battery. It is also known that the incorporated technologies allow the processor to run slower when not needed(using less battery) then spiking when a app demands more power. Older WM 2003 builds used to let you set the clock speed for your own usage, but now its become a "automatic" setting just as the atom processor is starting to do, since battery life is a focus on that processor as well, just as mobile phones are now trying to squeeze every last minute out of that battery like netbooks.
The Storm OS is just a re-skinned version of the non-touch screen Black Berry OS, made to be touch friendly. So it's the same "OS" as all other older black berry's just as much as the latest Window Mobile is the same as older generations. It's been around the block, so to say.
I find it interesting, this is the second blog post I have seen like this. It';s interesting to note the timing, because if it was not the updates Apple is including in 3.0, the Iphone would tank in many of the categories. Just goes to show they are finally catching up.

I have to say I'm very happy with my Ipod touch, but they do need to fix just a few more things before I leave my WM device's
1.2 billion huh? and how do they figure? Intel only makes the CPU chips used in these so called devices, not the device's themselves. That would be dell if you had to pick one of the 2. Intel was simply labeling a product that used there product, there there own product individually.
Looks like they are finally coming out with a god upgrade from my Tilt.

There really was no good reason for me to upgrade from the Tilt to the Fuze, what it offered was nominal. The general speed was not that much of a boost (because as it seams windows mobile can only be so fast, heck my Tilt is faster then my 624mhz X scale in my Advantage) The screen SIZE was the same, though it has a higher Res. The keyboard may have had more buttons, but they where smaller, and not as nice.

Now this gives me a reason to sell both my Tilt and my Advantage. The advantage was nice for a large screen device...but a 3.6 inch device with a high res screen would give me what I need on both a pocket able device, and a enjoyable device. Looks like I have some selling to do...
JKK! My man!
To those that are asking about upgrading from W7 Beta

People that are currently running W7 Beta will be out of luck for any upgrade option. It is a BETA not a full operating system meant to be used like Vista (In MS's eyes any way). You will have to either purchase W7 full out retail, or if your dual booting from Vista or XP like most of us, you will have to pay for the upgrade option via your stable Windows operating system.(free if that stable system is purchases after the July date, NOT free if it was purchased before...or like any thing you have now)
I am pretty sure I saw a Discovery Channel Series on the Super Computer systems they have that track the satellite's Path's in space. I remember them saying that even with the best super computers it's not he best, but that its still very important....for this very reason. Though I am sure tracking a 16 year old NON functional Russian Sat can be pretty tricky...I would have though it would have lost its orbit long ago with out corrections.
Might work a bit better with a HMD type device. I don't think the projector is the way to go.
It better be less then $50 and well built, that's all I got to say from the looks of it.

Like that's going to happen...
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
