it's not as good as br/ath and you can get the same chipset on an adapter for $10. I'm guessing you think theres nothing wrong with a piece of wire taped to a straw either...
The original G adapter was worth about $15. I opened mine up the other day and the chipset isn't Broadcom or Atheros, or any other decent wifi make, it's made by Marvel. And get this, the "antenna" is a wire cellotaped to a piece of drinking straw!
