Meh, 360 is done for. I sold mine 2 weeks ago, as nothing has inspired for the the last 12 months, and games simply aren't getting any better, it's the same regurgitated junk. I can't see how Natal can be targetting 2010, as by then surely most people have moved to PS3 by then.
I know, there articles are so misinformed, there is a large bit of me, that thinks MS viral marketing is behind them.

2008 had more PS3 exclusives, better ones too. 2009 the gap is even bigger, with absolutley nothing on the horizon worth waiting for on X360, and a tonne of stuff on PS3.
So much that you waste your money on a 360? That's pretty fuckin sad. Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face.

Clearly this is the message that Microsoft have been conditioning people to think via their viral marketing channels. You have been sucked in good and proper buddy. You are missing out on a hell of a lot of great stuff, just to please those in the redmond mothership.
They got it together a long time back. Unless you hadn't noticed, Microsoft enjoyed 12 months in the US, and 18months everywhere else, where they were selling consoles with no competition.

Where did that lead go? Sony had amost managed to destory it, whilst having to fight with 2 other consoles in the market.

How can anyone think that is poor performance???

The 2008 exclusives were better on PS3.
The Multi-plats looked as good, and sometimes better on PS3.
2009 is almost entirely PS3, as I don't see a single Xbox exclusive worth owning on the radar..

I would be really disappointed to have opened a Xbox360 on Xmas day, knowing my parents just bought me 2007's console of the year....
The sad thing is, there are morons that believe this cr@p.

The thing with statistics, you can twist them to say what you want. Yes, PS3 got beat on holiday sales in the US. But it still (marginally) outsold the 360 in total sales in 2008 in the US. and outsold the 360 by a large margin in Japan and Europe.

At the end of the day, that means the PS3 -> 360 gap has closed by another 1.5m consoles worldwide. Meaning Microsoft only have a 3m console advantage (and some of those will surely be RROD's that were thrown away because the owners did not know about 3yr warranty extension for RROD).

I wouldn't be suprised to see the actual on the ground active number of PS3 and 360 consoles to be with a million of each other globally.
Of course it will win. PS3 has caught up and overtaken the 360 in PAL regions, despite the 360 having a 18month exclusive head start. It's also outsold the 360 in the US in 2008, and is 2m ahead in Japan.

You would have to be an idiot to think that the PS3 is somehow the "generation's underdog". Clearly it's much superior tech to that Microsoft white turd, and it's the best value console by a mile.

My mate has the update. It looks good, but I still much prefer to use my PS3 for everthing like this, as I like the single box solution. (For netflix on PS3, you have to use PlayOn server), With the PS3 you get NetFlix, Hulu and more, along with fantastic DVD upscaling, Stunning BD playback, and the best games.

You can't really beat a PS3. Rarely do you find a device that's jack of all trades, master of all trades. PS3 is exactly that thou.
Errm do you find facebook creepy? If not, then this is no different, just a 3D version of it, with much more media based social interaction.

I'm in the closed beta, and frankly I think Home is awesome, it's going to revolutionise social networking for consoles. It's not a agme per-se, infact it's very tricky to clarify what home is, like trying to explain what the internet was to someone back in 1990.
Rootkits? Come on grow up. Is this blog written by schoolkids? If you want to be taken as a credible source you need to sort your act out. Until then, anything I read here is just laughable nonsense.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
