Three heavy, lead-filled C cells in a metal tube - there's a reason that torches aimed at security officers are this size, shape and heaviness. It's a legal-carry club.
Are they suicidal? First they bring out a bunch of laptops that are very, very, very similar to Apple's MB Air, then they ape the dock? Why not live dangerously, and throw in multitouch, too?
Seriously, it's not a bad concept but the execution is a little derivative, to say the least.

P.S. I'm not a whiney mac fanboy, just sayin'

The Dramurai first announce they're cutting production 30% next year. Then someone claims they can sell you "invisible chips". See what's going on here?
Whilst building a laser pointer out of the guts of a DVD drive that can pop balloons certainly sounds cool: bear in mind it *will* blind if it his your eye. Not *may* like the keyring pointers, it *will* damage your retina.
Now consider how many shiny things are in your house: windows, mirrors, metal door handles, etc. Specular reflection's quite likely to cause you or someone else harm.
I don't wanna be a killjoy but we did this to death on /. a while back and the possible harm is quite scary, scary enough to outweigh the "OMG-I-can-pop-balloons-and-burn-holes-in-garbage-sack" cool factor.

YMMV
Tesla = Lotus Elise worked on with new drive train
Dodge EV = Lotus Europa worked on with new drive train etc

Looks cool, I'd love one. Willing to bet that a 1:1 dollar/UKP gadget conversion scale will apply though.
Do you need the matching .signature file as well as the .ipsw file to get this to install? if so, any links?
Is it going to be as big as Ginger was? Like, going to change the way we live and the world we live in? Then we find out it's a stupid gyro scooter?
It's a Treo that runs Windows Mobile natively. They've installed one of the many free iphone interface fake/clones that's available for WinMo, all of which are cack. Nothing to see here, move along.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
