You could not edit footage from a Panasonic HVX200 when it first came out either. Apple has just done an amazing job at supporting the newest cameras.

Check out the HD trailer for "Knowing" starring Nicolas Cage and tell me that doesn't look like 35mm film. "Knowing" was 100% shot on the RED camera.

"president Jim Jannard is politely asking RED fans to include a trademark disclaimer when they post about the company's products, and he says that the proceedings against LG are "just the tip of the iceberg."

Jannard simply told us it would help RED's trademark case if we put those disclaimer's on our sites. Since pretty much everyone who has purchased REDs is blown away by their quality and how RED treats their customers we want to comply in order to boost RED's success. It was definitely not a command by Jannard.
