I use 8GB cards with no problem. The first time you put the card in you'll see it "reading mp3s", and this does take several seconds. But after that it'll just pick up playing where it left off.
It works. Not much more I can say. I was driving the freeway the other day, and it slowed down. Then my 760 said, "traffic ahead". Yeah, no joke! YMMV
