I love my e4's and while the e5's sound great I just don't use in-ear monitors with my iPod enough to justify the price jump, same goes with these updated models.
All of this really doesn't matter because at the end of the day she's still Rosie O'Donnell and he has a bad comb over... both aren't worth blogging about.
Talk about getting worked up over nothing. DirecTV didn't lie or stretch the truth, would you rather have been more comfortable with the ad stating that games on the NFL network can't be seen on Time warner, unless you live in one of these few select cities where the games are sold out and will broadcast over another channel as long as blackout rules are met? Gee, sounds like a wining disclaimer. Time Warner should heed the warning about those in glass houses...
Microsoft already competes in one market where they take heavy losses on equipment sales to make a profit on accessories, video games. With estimates being around -$200 for each XBox sold Microsoft has already learned the rules of leveraging one aspect of a device against the sale of supporting components in order to make a profit. I think Microsoft could have eliminated Apple from the market if they launched the Zune with unlimited free downloads from their online store using the same model (give away music, make the profits up on the player and accessories). However, with the utter failure of their launch for the Zune (crashing software, no support for podcasts, unable to use the Zune while docked, etc.) it will take drastic steps for Microsoft to make a dent in the iPod at this time.
I think Nintendo can kill this suit by presenting the court with a piece of Nintendo technology from years past... the NES IR Gun for Duck Hunt and Hogan's Ally. Its a trigger-based electronic device.
Even though its not HD I plan on hooking up a Wii (once I get my order shipped).
Earth to Consumer Reports, Apple computers come with 90 days of tech support AND one year of warranty in case it breaks. AppleCare just extends the normal one year service an additional two years, but why sweat the details?
And those buttons on the front of both phones looks like a straight up rip-off of an iPod... just missing the menu button.
Analog? Who does that anymore?
DirectTV HD, still waiting on the HD Tivo though :-(
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
