Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a wireless trackpad to use with my older (2.5 or so years old) C2D MacBook that's perpetually docked to my home theater. Something sleek, thin, not too small, made of high quality materials. Ideally, it would natively support all of (Snow) Leopard's multitouch inputs, and even more ideally, it would have a charging dock / base. The only problem is that I'm not sure that such a thing even exists. Think you can throw me a bone?"
If you want something in between.
The best laptop on the market right now is the Sony Vaio Z
for the following reasons
- 13.1" Form Factor & 1.5KG weight make it THE lighest and most compact 13.1" laptop on the market, and also the most powerful at this size with either a p8600 core 2 duo cpu or a faster P9xxx series.
- LONG battery life. Typically 5 hours
Im not a fanboy, I just happen to own a vaio z and did a lot of research before buying so I know I got the best I can get for what I need.
