Well expecting a high end Blue Ray laptop for $399 is asking a bit much lol..... but I do understand where you are coming from. I did get a nice dual-core laptop for $350 thanks to the My Cheap tech site posted below and 32" HDTV as well, all without dealing with fat angry people at Wal-Mart on Black Friday, so that you Engadget for this post :) (no offense to angry people or fat or Wal-art)
Hell for $400 I can get a nice desktop or laptop at sites like www.mycheaptech.net & forums.slickdeals.net are sure this post is not from 4 years ago?
Just force Apple to take off premium and sell their laptops at sub $700 like everybody else.... ok not really.

Fixing the world economy requires destroying this whole capitalism system and getting rid of consumers market campaign, this website explains it better than I ever could: http://www.storyofstuff.com/

Good can't wait until the G-1 has this. Battery life willing that is.
I miss my 1st gen 80 gig Zune that I priced match at Sears for $70 from a brown Amazon ad.
Yeah if your one of the 2% that wins !!!

I would be happy if I won a t-shirt or something, hell anything for that matter.
Man why does their site just scream scam ?

I mean they might even be legit but no pictures or videos of the phone actually working nor any with one being held in hand worries me, I paid $139 ( Htc promo ) for my G-1 so not cheaper for me.

I took a picture of folks camped outside a Best Buy in Mission Valley San Diego yesterday I bet they have no idea that Fry's has better deals ummm wrong blog.
I'm from the US and what is a shame is that my first thought when I saw the picture was how it looked too small to carry my lunch.....
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm pretty much a complete noob when it comes to camera stuff. My wife loves to take pictures, though. So much so that she literally wore out her first point and shoot camera, and the Kodak Z712 I bought for her less than two years ago is starting to act up as well. To compound the matter, we are expecting our first born sometime next year. I fear the Kodak just isn't going to cut it any longer. What would be the best starter DSLR to get? She hates missing photo opportunities due to camera 'lag' so speed would definitely be at the top of the list. Photo quality and features would be next. Price should be no more than $800. I'm not interested in video capabilities."
