i had the hinge problem. apple said they would charge me $800 for the fix.
i tried to raise it to manager, pointing out there were blogs written on the topic but they gave me nothing.

fuck them
fyi that rubiks cube is a custom edition. its a DIY rubiks -_-
the old dell D430 is good. its only like 600 bucks on ebay NEW... thats what i have now.
are you serious? we were waiting for these prices? first this mini and now this... for far less I can get a Lenovo X200 or even a X300!! the choice is clear now that I'm upgrading my Dell D430... lenovo baby!
I don't think engadget is being fanboys. I personally own a Dell and I liked their company. However, they are taking forever to release their 12 and 13" E series, and they released the Dell Mini way too late (I bought an EEE causue I got so impatient)... and now they have this lame ad.

I was in fact planning to buy a E4200 but after they let me down with not releasing their products, and the very very dissapointing Mini I'm probably heading over to Lenovo or Apple for my next lappy.

Dell you let me down and lost a customer :\
dell mini says: "fail all around"
btw i'd like to mention you're a complete idiot if you buy one of these at launch. either wait for them to drop price... or pick up an s10.

zzz
wtf @ PRICE?!?! and no colors or configs? goodbye dell... gonna wait for s10 or possibly pick up an eee.

the photo of the kid finger typing doesn't help either. lol
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What's the best gaming laptop for under 1,500 bucks? I had my eye on the P7805u (Gateway), but it seems Best Buy has run out for the time being. Also, as a secondary question, I like the specs on brands such as iBUYPOWER and CyberPower and the like, but are they reliable? I'm a little worried about buying labels that aren't huge like Dell, Gateway, etc. Thanks!"
