Got it running on a last gen MBP here at work. Then I have it as my primary OS (duel booting XP Pro) at home. I only have a few complaints. I need better duel monitor support. Being able to select a wallpaper for each screen, and at what size would be killer. I use ultramon in XP for such things, and for the most part, W7 handles 2 monitors very well. Resizing of the start bar on wide screen bars is MUCH better in W7. My second complaint is with the default battery settings for desktops; portables I understand, but desktops should default to performance settings. My last complaint is with how W7 handles networking. It's very very very good.. but I would like access to set IP addresses manually easier.
Apple, take note. ;-)

Also, my n73 hasn't "swollen" up yet. Thank goodness, too; Nokia charges far too much for a spare battery, and eBay has em for not much... before shipping them from Asia. D:
You can get em over at http://www.thegadgeteers.com/, and the top model touch screen is $199.

Personally, I have been looking at these. Looks like a really great idea for a touch screen dock or something. But I don't think I could justify a $200 7" touch screen monitor, when one can get decent 22" for around that.
I guess someone forgot to tell BMW that those neat little "smart chips" are RFID chips, and are disturbingly easy to hack, and copy data from.
I don't think he left anything out, in fact I think he covered most if not all the bases on this I one. The lack of good cargo space makes it a useless suv, and the lacking of driving pleasure leaves a lot to be desired. That coupled with the lack of utility, and head room makes it seem like a failed in comparison to bmw's other suv options. The X6 is a waste of money; bmw tried to marry a sports car to a suv, and failed.

Great review In my humble opinion.
Do want. And I am quite deserving. :-P
I kinda like it. Well, the body and the interior at least; those rims/tires are gaudy though. But I won't let that deter me from not liking the concept, as show cars are usually a little over done. But 286bhp from a 2l 4 is nothing to laugh at.
Argh, i'm getting sick of everyone whineing about TN panels being this, and TN panel that. Get used to it, buster, because if it were a IPS, or VA panel, it would probably be twice as much. Yes, the viewing angles are so much better on a IPS panel, but you're going to pay a mighty king's ransom for one. TN panels are cheap, and the viewing angles aren't THAT bad.
$1,000 bucks for a proc? I would totally hit that if I had the funds.
VWs unreliable? Since when? My mk4 starts every morning, goes, and goes and goes. I know of many VWs past their life times that keep going and going and going. Yeah the DSG system may have really ruined the deal with the 08' r32, as "true drivers" want a clutch. They should have had it a free option so buyers can choose between a clutch or dsg gear box.

Besides, this doesn't come to a surprise to me. They have the 'Rocco maybe coming here, and the new mkVI GTI. VWs line up for the day year or so is pretty high quality.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
