always consider that apps are usually 5-8mb TOPS. the android app devs are really efficient. Once you root it, you can save your apps to an sd card.. even more space!
whenever someone says hurrrrr I picture someone sitting on the toilet, constipated. that, or borat's wife plowing the field.
I don't know what you guys have done to your FF installs, but I have tons of addons and firefox only crashes due to poorly coded flash or huge pdfs for me. hasn't crashed in months.
yeah, the fonts suck big time. i like everything else though. reminds me of gdgt.com
lets not forget killzones terrible framerate. I am not sure what U2 runs at but its buttery smooth and it didn't stutter once. killzone runs at 24 fps (i think) and it shows. the controls are really unresponsive because they tried to mask that framerate with blur effects. try playing killzone online compared to, say, bad company. bad company isn't exactly known for tight controls, but even it's leagues ahead. It always annoys me when people say "dude man that game looks like teh sehks" even though it runs like crap.
im running the dev channel version and tab switching is instantaneous. content is there right away.
I thought they said something about biting the and that fed them.
I'm in the same boat. I just beat Uuncharted 2 and the single player just seemed really lackluster to me.
Yeah, but i think that the 360 sticks are shorter/ have a smaller radius so it evens out. it's up to personal preference though. i like the 360 sticks better for fps's for some reason.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am trying to configure out a really dumbed down and intuitive PC for my grandmother. She recently had a stroke and while she is under my care I would like to repurpose a laptop for her to surf and email her children. Anyone have any experience with what input devices and UI's are really understandable for the over 80 crowd?"
