Wow... what a comment. You got me at "Apple has Apple." Ummm... WHAT?!?
This should in the "other things" section under "Where BlackBerry and Windows Mobile are still winning":

You see Sprint has a nationwide roaming contract with Verizon, including voice and 1xRTT. Which means that basically wherever you have Verizon service, you have Sprint service. All you need is a phone that allows you to choose which network to be on, and that's where Windows Mobile shines. As far as I know, all Sprint WM phones have this ability. The trick is to use the "Roaming Only" option when selecting the network, because phones are programmed to prefer their home network (Sprint) even if that network give ½ a bar compared to say 3 bars with the roaming network (Verizon). Btw, this option can be changed on the fly; even when ur on a call.
Is it me, or do 5 of those 7 items are just complaints... ONLY comes in black; is NOT a world phone, does NOT run legacy apps etc.

We get it: Engadget still likes loves the iPhone more.
OK. So although real store opening images are available at the READ link, you guys just had to use the stupid and lame Apple cube Photoshop job?

Come on guys, stop sucking the Apple teat all the time! Please. It's getting pretty lame.

Btw, if you haven't learned this already, all touchscreen phones are bound to look like one another physically. But the M8's final interface looks as much like the iPhone's as Jessica Alba looks like Jennifer Lopez.
@jacob:

Let me see... I can get an HTC Vogue, which is a full-featured touchscreen WinMo 6.1 device that is going for around $250 brand new on eBay without any contracts. This device has copy-paste, EVDO Rev.A, GPS, A2DP Bluetooth, 2MP Camera a very active hacker/developer community and the works. I can also activate the same device on Sprint with the ever-famous $30 plan and get unlimited text, data, and 450 anytime minutes all inclusive.
I think it's time to ask for an Engadget feed sans the iPhone crap.
What the fuck is multi-touch good for besides expanding and contracting pictures? In any case, a feature that requires two hands is not a feature. It's a useless gimmick.

Gimme Single-Uno-Ein...touch. That's it.
Hmm... it's nice but where's the female Korean model?
I am so jealous of all the free gadgets you guys get. Thanks for sharing though!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
