I like Franco as an actor, and he seems like a decent human being. I can't blame the guy for a classroom snooze-- I fell prey to many myself! At least he's trying to better himself with an education.

After doing the math, I see I can take a 42% cut and still provide for my family barring major disasters or loss of my wife's job. Previously I had dealt with a 20% reduction (2003). Looks like globalization is working out well... for SOMEone, somewhere...

Of course the birds are identifiable with Viewsonic. As was stated, that's their LOGO... and it has been for many, many years.

I was one of those cut, and unable to find another position. I believe that in my case and some others, it was a result more of severe misunderstanding of the roles than anything else. That happens in a giant company... but knowing so doesn't ease the frustration.

Built-in gps and keyboard aren't exactly cheap. Plus, the N800 price has naturally fallen as devices do, but you can't expect a newly-launched product (even a sibling) to enjoy that. Finally, the quoted price is list, and discounts of up to $75 USD have already been reported.

"I'm heading to university next year, and I've purchased a MacBook. I'm also taking my four year old desktop, just in case I'm left with no computers when the MacBook is being repaired or whatnot. With only two USB ports on a MacBook, I want a Bluetooth mouse. Budget is about $100, and of course, it needs OS X support. Thanks for the help!"
