Apple really screwed up the computer part. When I try to connect to my computers it clears off all my previously synced content. Still trying to figure this out.

PS is it really so hard to "just play" all my podcasts like a playlist so it could be like my own tv station?
Seems very vulnerable to multiple kinds of attacks.
All widgets should eventually sync with iPhone. Also, I think the hotly debated iPhone SDK(lite) is being prepped as a feature for iWeb to allow simple iPhone-optimized sites. I don't think we'll see a full iPhone SDK until Steve Jobs' concedes he is a little premature in pushing everyone to web apps.
Didn't Apple file for some sort of hybrid mpeg-4 format a while back? It would make sense that you buy "one" file, but the appropriate format goes to the right device.
Finally the trackpad meets the keyboard. Now Apple needs to trim a little off the width of the new *wired* keyboard, add a multi-touch pad where the number pad is, and you have yourself something special.
I see iMovie 08 as a gigantic revolution in editing. It may take some people longer than others to warm up to this but it's here. Stop thinking about what is missing are start pondering why it needed to be there in the first place.

-Unless you're a professional, audio mixing can be reduced to a set of rules that a computer can handle for you (ducking, fading, normalizing, etc).

-You have a timeline---just more Minority Report and less 1970s.

-Chapter markers have a big future so Apple is getting us to stop thinking of them as chapters (IMHO). See iPhoto Events for more insight.

-Themes maybe but you'll hate them in two weeks because everyone will use the same ones. (Think iWeb 06).

Thats enough for now.
WHich is exactly why Apple said it reinvented the phone with iPhone. It's not about Apple getting a huge marketshare--it's about making everyone step up their game.
you have to use a stylus?
which is exactly what Apple intended on doing with the iPhone. they said it was a revolution and that they were re-inventing the phone. they never said anything about taking over or dominating the market. Apple saw that the phones on the market now are kinda shitty, and made an awesome one. if various factors make the iPhone a flop it doesnt matter because they already changed the market by waking up dumb, rich, lazy, SOB CEOs.
cellphones were around when you were in elementary school??!?!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"For a long time I have been searching for a portable device where I can store all of my CDs in MP3 format and stream the songs wirelessly to my HiFi system. The portable device must I've tried FM transmitters, they all suck. I don't want a docking station. Any help? Thanks!" have a display so that I easily can scroll through the playlists (I don't want to use a TV or monitor). I suppose that there must also be a second device that is connected to the HiFi system that would receive the wireless streams from the portable device.
