I agree up to a point about the great features that Navigon has to offer. Free LIFETIME traffic, updates of the go...etc. Then again, the Navigon touchpad is terrible and the craddle is a nightmare.The keypad is so small that that had to give you a stylus to use it. Who has time to do that? Yeah, but all that aside, you make a great point about all of the wonderful and FREE features offered by Navigon. 8)

"My father-in-law is heading back to school in the spring and wants a laptop for Christmas. The only catch is their budget is around $400 and he does not want a netbook. He's not very "tech savvy" at all and doesn't need a hoss of a machine (not that $400 could get you one). We would like to get it for him as soon as possible and would love some input."
