还在想这么像angelaBabay,图片名一看真是她
As much as I like ur joke, The girl in the video says otherwise.
She designed the holes so when u shift ur pivot when u sit in the chair it helps u either lay back or stand back up.
And she said the initial idea was to help with her grandpa's arthritis cause his knees suffer a lot of pressure when he gets up from regular chairs...hence the design of the holes to maximize the support from the chair.
Totally with you. I love the candybar form factor with both touchscreen and full keyboard and its a pain to see so little effort is spent on it. On screen keyboard is just not doing for me, but lacking a touchscreen can be annoying too. Its sad android seems not going for this form factor and RIM strangely hasn't yet come up with a device like that yet. So far samsung and palm are the only major fighters still keeping up.
Chicago
thatz a fxxking gimmick. ever heard of tablet pc? the ones that give you at least 12'' of screen real estate and 256 touch sensitive and the most advanced painting softwares and the ability to carry around and actually work as artistic devices?
If he is a serious artist-I doubt that judging from his moronic choice-he would've dump the cell phone and actually tried to paint some artwork. There're million's AMAZING digital paintings composed by tablet PCs and cg artists out there and no mainstream media ever gave a shit and they suddenly hyping some crappy makeshift images dont by a phone?
his rationalization is just a coverup for his ignorance and thats just sad. And shame on you New Yorker, yet another apple fanboy action and total publicity stunt.
I for one found the whole realtime raytracing for games kinda pointless, since I never found the lack of realism in game came from lack of reflection(I really thought they did pretty good in that), which is exactly what raytrace is good at, but the lack of indirect illumination, which is the essential reason for 3d to look 3d. Anyone who used a 3d app, or has some basic traditional art training should know that it is the complexity of ambiant lighting that gives everyday objects volume for them to look realistic, but what raytrace gives you are mainly glossy reflection or refrection, which is hardly the point. Currently 3d software use photon tracing, final gathering or ambiant occlusion to get indirect illumination, but none of them doesn't require massive amount of precomputed data and assuming a static scene. Anyone solve that would be the time to get really excited.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What's the best gaming laptop for under 1,500 bucks? I had my eye on the P7805u (Gateway), but it seems Best Buy has run out for the time being. Also, as a secondary question, I like the specs on brands such as iBUYPOWER and CyberPower and the like, but are they reliable? I'm a little worried about buying labels that aren't huge like Dell, Gateway, etc. Thanks!"
