I am very satisfied with Vista, especially its security and search functionality. It may just be a fluke, but I have considerable /fewer/ OS and application-related problems since the upgrade from XP.
And the fact that Mac OS had some of Vista's features first does not diminish their value to me, a lifelong Windows user.
Nvmnd they are power...
I think a lot of people are missing the fact that thos plugs /are not power plugs/. They are proprietary connectors; notice the flat third prong. This is not power line netwroking or anything to do with power lines. They just have a similar design.
This watch will replace the fine specimen of chronometric tech that is my Casio AW-80D-2AVEF.
The problem is that 50mp far exceeds the resolution of any commercial SLR lens, so the extra resolution may be moot without completely new, and no doubt very expensive, optics.

However, having all of those superfluous pixels with a underpowered lens may be useful for noise reduction; if a *single* pixel is distinctly different from its neighbors, it must be noisy, making noise detection that much easier for the camera.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm pretty much a complete noob when it comes to camera stuff. My wife loves to take pictures, though. So much so that she literally wore out her first point and shoot camera, and the Kodak Z712 I bought for her less than two years ago is starting to act up as well. To compound the matter, we are expecting our first born sometime next year. I fear the Kodak just isn't going to cut it any longer. What would be the best starter DSLR to get? She hates missing photo opportunities due to camera 'lag' so speed would definitely be at the top of the list. Photo quality and features would be next. Price should be no more than $800. I'm not interested in video capabilities."
