Cybook Gen3 e-book reader on sale now for $350 {Engadget}
Oct 29th 2007 11:08AM Yet another comment from someone who has never actually read a book on a device of this kind. I purchased a Sony Reader a few months ago and love it. I have tried to read books on a PDA and could not make it through an entire book, just too much eye strain and battery charging of course, and show me a PDA screen you can read in even moderate lighting let alone sunlight. Of all the things you mention you can do on your PDA how many does it actually really well.
HP Pavilion DV6000 and DV9000 laptops {Engadget}
Jul 12th 2006 11:22AM the DV8000 series were great laptops, best laptop for gaming under 3 grand. They are as upgradeable as any laptop, just like current HP desktops. When it comes to upgrading anyway all consumers upgrade is memory anyway maybe a harddrive but that is rare. Don't talk if you haven't used or seen one for a few years, and don't know the needs of your average consumer, even a gamer buying a laptop.
HDMI port coming to the Xbox 360? {Engadget}
Jul 8th 2006 5:42PM For the HDMI vs. DVI debate. DVI and HDMI have the EXACT same video signal the electrical signaling is exactly the same, that is why you can get a HDMI to DVI cable it is simply and cable conversion if the signals were the same some processing would have to be performed as with a PS/2 to usb adapter. HDMI is just smaller and adds audio.
