Glad to hear about video. Does the PS3 support fast forwarding or rewinding .mp3 files? My stupid XBox 360 doesn't.
Brilliant! By assuming that I "hate corporations" you can avoid any rational engagement with the widespread stifling of innovation that Microsoft has caused.

Oh wait, I meant Micro$oft.
Hi!

In computer science, "code" is an abbreviation of "source code". Which means "human readable". As opposed to "binaries".

Just because Micro$oft wants to obscure this difference, and I wonder why they might want to, doesn't mean you have to also.
What, kidding that I want these features? Kidding that microsoft won't provide them?

Oh wait, maybe you think that I'm joking in suggesting that the XBox 360 doesn't *already* have these features.

I'm not.
Any chance this update will enable fast forwarding or rewinding of music? Resume function for music? For some reason, I doubt it.
Using a Toshiba nb100, think its a 945.
ummmm

this played totally smoothly, 24 fps, ~1.52 Mbps on my bog standard atom based intel gma netbook.

Adobe, I'm looking at you, and thinking about ditching you for Microsoft.

Microsoft.
Don't forget the price of a new book. That's always nice. Oh, wait...
I couldn't care less about proprietary vs. non-proprietary. All I know is that

-SD variants are almost an order of magnitude cheaper at large sizes;
-I have many gadgets in my life that already use SD variants.

Please understand that when people use the word 'proprietary' they are referring to a cluster of properties that includes number of manufacturers, number of interoperable devices, and price.

Yes, it's getting the word wrong. It doesn't mean the sentiment is wrong.
what a joke. Real Djs

blah blah blah blah blah blah

anyone been to Ibiza lately? Seen the variety of technologies being used there? I counted about 1 in 5 Djs using records on a turntable. I think the whole timecoded vinyl business is entirely for show.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
