Id rather be a Geek then a Nerd... Windows is a better OS then OSX... you can argue that all day long, but it is. Especially for gaming and household interconnectivity. Apple has better hardware then most PC manufacturers. Ill agree to that.... But Sonys are damn nice! And they aren't cheap. Also you want to talk high end!? Come on people, you "Mac nerds" havent heard of ALIENWARE?! The most nerdy, most powerful and most expensive systems under the sun?! And guess what?! They run Windows.
Mac Nerds are just that... Nerds.... I'm a PC... staying Geeked out. :)
Hey does anyone know if the dock is actually going to be doing any of the processing for the TomTom GPS app? I believe I remember there being that capability when the iPhone 3.0 OS was demoed at one of the Apple events. If it does it might be worth the money. I currently own the Navigon GPS app on my 3G and it is amazing.. but runs slow as crap-- I'm sure the TomTom app is the same. And as far as the person a few replies below me with Google Maps on his G1? Really man? You are satisfied with that? Really? You have low standards.
@^ "drives a stake right through that given the low adoption of CableCARD systems" -from that^ article
Separable Security mandated by the FCC requires all STBs to have CableCARDs... go ahead.. look at the back of your box. How is there a low adoption of CableCARD systems? That article is nonsense.
How to fix the economy... Inject trillions of dollars into the IMF, have the fed buy treasuries to purchase toxic assets to free up bank credit and small loans.. and borrow more money from China to enlarge the government. Obama's plan rocks!
Hey guys, I know you want FiOS in chicago, but it isnt going to happen anytime soon. Lucky enough for us Comcast has rolled out Wideband, which has speed tiers and pricing very close to Verizons FiOS. It is in the suburbs right now mainly, but will be rolling out in all areas of Chicago by the end of the summer. Enjoy your 50 mbit :)
First of all to fix the economy is to find the missing money. It seems that all the money in the world has vanished into thin air... or rather probably sitting on some Sun server somewhere on a harddrive in Kentucky or something.. Or was it in a building that had been destroyed?
My proposal is a gigantic "reveling of news" that during some fire or natural occurrence (an internet virus) has wisped away all the digital money from servers! Our clever CIA agents have discovered the virus (or melted HDD, whatever you want the story to be) and has found over 10 trillion dollars worth of missing value of the economy. This finding of course if played out correctly... [Rockefeller we need your help to pull this one off...] would add such a high value to our current dollar value, because it is not newly created money but "found money that already existed." In this devious plan we as United States Citizens could now reinvest substantial amounts of this new digital money into loans and savings accounts which would trickle down even to the lowest peons through new jobs and such.
Economy Fixed...
Or at least 100 million in the box office.. whatever
And to anyone not on the unions side... its like you want Wall Street to win. Unions Fight For Us You Assholes! If you are for the Union. Thank You! And do not give up the fight!
I hear yah bigdaddy woot woot (sorry had to say that)..
Anyways, I do agree with you, but I highly doubt that a company that is turning in black ink instead of red is looking to lay off.. I really doubt that highly, especially given the current economic situation. What actually would drive the company down would be employing a bunch of "technicians" to repair cell sites, who don't know how to. This is going to cause a shift of customers away from the AT&T service, as there network will be unreliable at best.
AT&T Mobility needs to get these workers back as soon as possible.
"What's the best gaming laptop for under 1,500 bucks? I had my eye on the P7805u (Gateway), but it seems Best Buy has run out for the time being. Also, as a secondary question, I like the specs on brands such as iBUYPOWER and CyberPower and the like, but are they reliable? I'm a little worried about buying labels that aren't huge like Dell, Gateway, etc. Thanks!"
