any one else notice what appears to be a bubble shield rip off in the first vid. the first time the "gattling gun" appears. right after the shotgun.

i guess they steal whatever works best right?

halo 3 should be proud.
beyond the annoying ladies, it looks like there is going to be alot of information overload to much going on at once and you start to forget about units off camera. i hope the controls/AI are rock solid, from what was on the screen this game looks at best a alpha build, no effects/shaders etc, but i just hope it looks next gen enough to match all the promotion material they are using.

Now i am worried they won't be able to pull off the graphical end of the game.

please dont fuck this game up ubi its probly the best tom clancy inspired game idea ever.
thanks for not giving me credit for the tip alex

you forgot the best part about the comment from Jack Thompson

I am calm, in fact i could care less, im at work anyway. But will your agree with me that their is a downward trend with MS in the QA department?

and think of it this way when you got a game thats got 4 million preorders ($200+ million in sales sitting there), you dont just let shit slide, it should be prefect becasue your still selling yourself as a platform, just being like oh shit ill just deal with it lets them off the hook. Im not saying boycott bungie, but they should extend the public beta a day becasue of all of this.

Also i doubt this is bungie fault at all, its more the patch for crackdown wasnt QA right by renderware and MS, not bungie.

and my anlogy is quite on point. see halo 3 is MS $500,000 SLR, its got all the nice hyper around it. but when you get home you find out the shit doesnt work right, you be pretty disapointed to have to send it back to the patch shop to fix it, which is whats happening now, crackdown is just the greasy car salesman that told you your SLR was prefect.

there is that simplifed enough now for you to understand.

when you say your product is the shit you should back it up by not fucking up the lanuch of it. i dont think im asking for too much.
is there a complete lack of QA in the 360 at all? WTF did anyone think to test the halo 3 download functionity with this patch of crackdown, renderware and microsoft fuck up a simple thing.

i mean listen everyone has their fuck ups and bad bulids that go out, but this is your flagship product

see the videomarketplace discription for Chromehounds ; "test" yea great QA.

This is like buying a Mecerdes SLR taking it home and then going to turn it on and their not being a engine. I could say whatever if this was some no name game, but this your your flagship title their should be no exceptions, your trying to prove yourself still here, and this constant simple QA fuck ups kill me.

just get the shit fixed already hired more QA testers, do something its like a running joke, but's its really not funny.

Shagittarius where's the email....

dumbass.

he can't make a decent movie, without a cheesy sweeping shot, so maybe he can make a cheesy game with nice sweeping shots.

Digial domain is a top notch studio so i would like to see what they can turn out, these guys are pro's, all they need is experience game dev managers and they shouldnt have a problem.

IMO i think micheal bay directoring style is better suited for the video games which are usual completly factional rather then him trying to make pearl habor the game or something. I mean his movies suck but maybe thats becasue im grading them agianst other movies, micheal bay agianst david jaffe....

ill take Bay any day over Jaffe.

Please no movie to game cross overs you will be a obvious going for the money grab and people won't buy it, Micheal I'll tell you this little gaming industry nugget, original IP sell, Gears of War, Halo, Doom, Wolfenstein 3d, Quake, their all original IPs, don't cheese out and rehash a bunch of crappy scripts that wouldnt make good movies, becasue i doubt they make good games either, they need a developed thought out universe to exist in, not just a script.
I'll pay $60 for a full retail game of this based on the cell shading and quality of the animation alone this is some of the best adaption of the source engine to date, IMO better then HL2, single player campagin with coop give me say 25+ hours and then expanded and improved the current multi-player (add on to whatever is shipping with HL2:orange) you got yourself

Team Fortress 3: Unleashed

you got the game Shadowrun wishes it could be.

If only MS got in bed with Value and this was their Cross platform Live anywhere game, instead of Halo 2 and Shadowrun this would sell Waaaaaaay better, better then shadowrun for sure.

MS you listening last time i heard value already had the netcode waiting.....
just pay for it is worth it.

well that would be solved if MS let me restrict by age who i play with,

im in my late 20s i'd love to be able to set a delimited to "under 18".

Also who cares. what does the sight of a penis/beast/ or "heavens" a vagina freak you out or something, just think you can call him a dick and he'll have one above his head.

i mean xbox just need to get that it's not nintendo, 80% of its base is 20+ male, they need to embrace the sexuality and market it, not remove it or censor it, like those stupid themes.

just bulid in controls(which are already their) and then pass the buck off to the parents who should be parenting.

stop limited what i can do or look at becasue MS thinks the money is in the kids
(its not its in their game playing dad) and all the other HS/college/post college males that play it.
yea I was thinking about it, im going to give it a chance agian, its been a few months and im got bored with GRAW2.

but the mini-games need to be cut back was the point im trying to make, but im sure check a GameFAQ wasnt too hard for me. :p
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
