You all point out his fandom, and yet fail to point out the irony that he's talking about how revolutionary Apple is... and is then forced to correct his first post because his revolutionary iPod Touch tried to think for him?
It has nothing to do with "Windows" and it's not supposed to.
Look, Apple's ads are good because they state the benefits, but lately they've stopped doing that.
They've simply started pointing out where Windows is struggling.
That's all. Sure, some of them are funny, but it's like watching the popular kid (who can be an ass) getting picked on...
At first you feel happy, but after a while... the "popular kid" starts look like the underdog, and the name calling becomes annoying.
The point of these ads are to change how people feel towards the brand. And if you notice what Microsoft's been up to lately... they're not just doing it in their advertising... they're doing it with their products...
New Arc mouse. New blue laser mouse. Major price slashes to their xbox360 console and harddrive.
Microsoft seems to be trying to fix its tarnished image.
Just have some patience. Rome wasn't built in a day.
It took Apple several years to come out of its own version of branding blues.
These efforts are good for consumers. They mean we get heard more.
