Jul 25th 2008 11:18AM I'd loved it to happen but it won't any time soon.

Jul 21st 2008 6:03PM What do expect the keyboard to be made out of? Gold? Wood? Chocolate?

I've actually seen this phone in the flesh. The darker color scheme is so much better and the phone itself is fantastic. Quick, responsive, great features, slim, battery life to match the iPhone... it's Nokia's best ever device.

Jul 18th 2008 2:13PM "Granted, the looming launch of the Xperia X1 should help matters a bit"

The X1 isn't going to help for two reasons:

1) It's a niche device.
2) Every preview has said it's horrible - either complaining about the speed, the stability, the keyboard or the camera. Sure, these things *might* be fixed but it's supposed to be released in Q3 (i.e. NOW) and SE's track record on recent smartphones isn't good.

Nokia's N810 stoops to a mouthwatering $299 {Engadget}

Jul 18th 2008 10:01AM It's a bit too big to use as a phone really. I think Nokia's solution of pairing it over Bluetooth with a 3G phone is perfect. It's really, really simple to get surfing over your phone's 3G connection.
