Is this 'toy r us' thing USA?
or worldwide?
@ouj

Its not the firmware that makes PS3 play PS2 Games overall. There is something inside the 60gb version that makes the machine able to run it at the price of over heating. I mean without my fans on my 60gb my PS3 would be a oven by now!!

All the firmwares do for compatability is allow it to understand the different coding on different games.
THIS SUCKS!!!
why cna't the uk be in the draw?
i mean your boss tells our boss to do near enough anything anyway so
i think us people in the uk should be added :P
does anyone remember fortune from metal gear solid 2?
She had one of those things that made bullets go all around her but not hit her!!!
although for the ones around her got them all instead so the others are screwed :P
Why can't you do one for the u.k?
this sucks big time like a old wrinkly grandma sucking on a lemon... sure its funny at first but when the wrinkle start connecting to each other and her face disapeers like a shrivelled prune then your in trouble.
ITS NOT FAIR :(
Its people like this that make me worry what our future population are going to grow up like.
Damn - was hoping nobody else was gonna think that!!!
I'm more suprised rock band never updated the design of the drum kit. I mean a symbal as a normal pad????
why not try to do what GH has done which is actual symbals
neither do i
PS3 had although different problems although problems none the less when it had updates like the mass bricking update a few months back.

I don't understand why sony or xbox can't test the updates more vigourously than before if it's having this much trouble.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
