Playasia lied. I've watched it for weeks waiting to preorder this. They just modified the stock status from "Preorder coming soon" to "In stock", and then to "Out of stock". They never even bothered to sell the damn thing.
Fortunate thing that there's still good deals on ebay.
@zent Ok, it is in "perpetual motion" alright. But you only need a little bit of force to knock it out of its perpetuation, say gravity.
Besides, the term perpetual motion machine as we are using it, usually refers to these types of device: 1. A machine that moves forever without input energy, except the "starting kick". 2. A machine that moves forever without input energy, except the "starting kick", and that gives out energy.
So an atom would be in "perpetual" motion, but I wouldn't call it a perpetual motion thing. It's more like a chaos and uncontrolled state.
Ah well, I could be bullshitting too. I haven't slept for 24 hours.
Read the Comments part in that post, it explains the mechanism clearly. Hell I'll even do the readings for you:
Furthermore, there is the possibility that your old cookies may log you in without letting you pick a new username. That's bad because your account becomes unverified (as you can see above), which means your name won't display in comments at all, and we'll eventually delete all unclaimed accounts (the comments will stay, but the login info will no longer work and you'll have to create a new account).
The easiest way to correct this issue is to just jump to www.engadget.com/login (or the header up top) and logout. When you log back in with your CURRENT CREDENTIALS, you'll be asked to pick a new username, and boom: you're in. It's as simple as that. Again, we can't guarantee that you guys will get the exact name you want, but you're pretty creative -- we know you'll do okay.
Life is already hard as hell in China. Please don't screw us...
Oh well, what's the use of a smartphone when you don't have access to the internet? (Google the Great Firewall of China)
Anyway, since China Telecom is such a tiny player in the cell phone market in China (China Mobile's daily profit outshines the combined semi-annual profit of China Unicom and Chian Telecom), its chances are slim.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
