I can't wait for a W500 / W700 refresh with Nvidia hybrid graphics, LED screen, and 32nm Core i5 / Core i7 processor!
The X300, X301, and T400s have carbon fiber reinforced plastic in the roll cage (mainly in the screen structure).

A monocoque can be extremely rigid, but simply being a monocoque doesn't mean it is more rigid than a non-monocoque structure. How you gain stiffness isn't that important to a consumer. It would make more sense for Apple to advertise the torsional rigidity of the chassis or at least give a percentage increase over the previous generation chassis.
As a side note my Thinkpad is make of carbon fiber and magnesium. Both having higher stiffness to weight ratios than aluminum.
A unibody or as we call them in engineering a monocoque ? Yes
As a mechanical engineer I don't really understand the whole "unibody" hype.
Well the Blackberry Tour doesn't have Wifi or true Gmail push (although it is pretty good now). It seems like the best phone for the task (I have one!). I would say the Bold 9000 or Bold 9700 but I wouldn't try to be productive on ATT's network.
Friday I swap my Storm for a Tour, Sunday I get a Gmail plug-in, and now this! It is like Christmas. Now I just need threaded SMS and a few GB of device memory and my BB will never leave my hands (not that it does lol)
That is Qualcomm's faster processor and the same one in the Blackberry Storm and Tour.
The hate for the Storm is strong at Engadget. I have one and I have a lot of complaints about its speed and reliability but I still like it over the G1, Pre, and iPhone. Of course the Pre and iPhone are faster and have a much better browser experience they can't hold up to the build quality of the Storm (Pre), its ruggedness (Pre and Iphone), its network (Pre and Iphone), its multitasking (iphone), its opening for application (iphone), ect.

I think the Tour is probably a better device and I prefer it over the Storm but that is my personal preference.

I think all cell phone companies on a whole are way to willing to release buggy software and inadequate hardware. I work in the automotive industry, we define the term high reliability software. Automotive technology is a model of affordability, reliability, performance, and longevity that the technology market should strive for.
A fuel cell is simply a container for fuel!! My Cessna 172 has a fuel cell... It drive me crazy when people refer to hydrogen based engines as "fuel cells".
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
