Myself, I've replaced my broken Magellan with a Navigon. I'll probably buy another one in two years time because it will be cheaper than a map update as my town is replacing bridges and main highways over the next 4 years.

Even if I had an iPhone, I would never buy another Magellan product again.
Only think that would screw you up is if the el cheapo DVD you have was counterfeit. If you mail it to them and they reject it, then you're out a DVD I'd guess.

GPS? I'm sure if it had GPS , it would have been listed in the press release.
I'm guessing they used a magnetic field to do this.
not really. You don't pick up chicks for 'having gadgets'.
I like the product name...

.. It's all about ME!
708 dollars an ounce times 20 ounces.

14000 dollars just for the metal alone for each gold metal.

Was expecting a reference to Tammy Wynette, the KLF, and the Ancients of MuMu
.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a wireless trackpad to use with my older (2.5 or so years old) C2D MacBook that's perpetually docked to my home theater. Something sleek, thin, not too small, made of high quality materials. Ideally, it would natively support all of (Snow) Leopard's multitouch inputs, and even more ideally, it would have a charging dock / base. The only problem is that I'm not sure that such a thing even exists. Think you can throw me a bone?"
